a Night to remember : Gloucestershire Foodie Awards 2025
Delicious delights, local heroes, and a well-deserved celebration of the region’s finest.
I had the absolute pleasure of being the photographer for the Gloucestershire Foodie Awards 2025 — my second year being involved in this fantastic event, and once again, it didn’t disappoint.
Run by the brilliant Jonathan and Catherine Smith, this evening is all about celebrating the passionate foodies across the region — the ones pouring their heart and soul into their businesses, working long hours, late nights, and doing it all because they truly love what they do. That’s what makes this event so special, and it’s why I love being part of it.
The Vibe
It’s a relaxed, welcoming evening — no strict dress code, no formal seating. You can rock up in your trainers (I did!), sit wherever you like, and simply enjoy good food, good company, and brilliant local talent. It’s a genuine celebration of the local food scene — and the atmosphere reflects that.

The Menu
Guests were treated to a full flavour experience, thanks to some generous and talented local businesses:
- Welcome drinks from @drinkzeno
- Starter: Arancini by the ever-talented @thecotswoldcardillo
- Main: A BBQ feast from @bbqstreetbox
- Dessert: More deliciousness from @thecotswoldcardillo with perfectly piped cannoli
As the photographer, I had the best seat in the house for capturing not just the food, but the atmosphere, the laughter, and all the behind-the-scenes joy that comes with events like this.

the prestigious foodie award
That went to Steph and George of The Cotswold Food Bloggers — a win that couldn’t be more well deserved.
Their passion for supporting local and championing small food businesses is second to none.
I’ve followed their journey for a while now, and it’s so exciting to see them recognised for the energy and love they bring to the local food scene.
Like every event there's a LOT that goes into it and the people behind the scenes making it happen so..
